i have a milwaukee 18 volt hammerdrill. it has recently began to lack on pawer in the second gear.?
i have a milwaukee 18 volt hammerdrill. it has recently began to lack on pawer in the second gear. it was not bad at irst but it keeps getting worse. it will start out fine and then when i give it more trigger it stops and it will vibrate but not tun at all. it is not hard at all to stop it is second gear. i am starting to be able to stop it a little in the first gear. i am not sure wheat is wrong with my drill. it has lithiom ion batterries so i know that it is not a battery problem.
Take the tool to a quality tool repair shop and let them diagnose the problem. it will be worth the cost to find out if you need a new drill. If it's new or near new, then just return it for replacement.
